This page is intended to help convey info about the NEAA National event's week as it goes on. If you are attending, please email any comments, reports, brags & crys, event results, stories or observations to national@neaa.net . By sending your emails to this address, you are considered to be giving permission to have them posted here on this (open to the public) page. Your posts will not be edited, every post (unless unreasonably profane) will be posted, all "From" and "Subject" headers will be with your posting, other header information may be deleted. Posts will be added twice daily (or more) once in the early evening, once in late evening and possibly once in early morning.... so take your laptops and when you get a moment email and email often... us less lucky non attendees are counting on you!

PS: feel free to send photos as well, but please do have text descriptions for each. (I reserve the right to edit photos though)

If anyone has suggestions on how to improve this concept, please email either at the above address or webmaster@neaa.net.

Thank you!

Hello Fellow Elkie Friends!
Although I'm extremely envious of all of you who are there celebrating the Elkhound in Michigan, I am excited and happy that you are able to enjoy your dogs and each other while participating in our breed's National Specialty. My team of doctors still doesn't think I should travel any distance, or for longer than a short visit, so I will remain here in Wisconsin cheering and rooting for all of you and feeling just a teeny little bit sorry for myself at the same time. While you are there, be sure to take the time to rekindle your old friendships, and make new folks feel welcome. A good friend gave me a great tip: At each National she attends, she makes it a point to meet and get to know at least one new friend. I just wish I could be there to do that! (Thanks for the idea, Vicky). GOOD LUCK in all your events, stay safe, and most of all, HAVE FUN!
Moose Magic To All,
Shelley Brown

Dominque and Sylvie were High in Trial in obedience today. It was their first time in Open A. Judge Tom Masterson was a hoot & everybody had a fun time.

I've uploaded photos to Flickr ... tried to put them in order in the set. http://www.flickr.com/photos/50363987@N06/sets/72157623966874583/

Please note I'm sorry that I cannot recall the name of the cute little boy with Toni Sibrel, but I understand he is a foster failure and will be joining the family of Hallie Daisy, ZigBee, Toni & Pete.

I'm hoping tomorrow (after Rally is over) to take photos of Moosedoggers and Moosedogs and will post them to the Flickr account.

I haven't figured out how to upload photos in order, so I put them in order in the set. Yukon and I were there, but since we took the photos, we aren't in any of them!

Hi folks,

I have posted two new sets to Flickr ... photos in the first set were taken at
the JNMR raffle on Wednesday. I have tried to identify the people (and dogs)
in the photos.

Thursday morning we visited the Tridge and the photos from that adventure are
here:

We're back home after an awesome week and so much fun. Thank goodness it's a
long weekend so we have an extra day to recover before going back to work.
