Ed Schlesinger Outstanding Service Award

Purpose: To provide an award to be known as the Ed Schlesinger Outstanding Service Award, to the person or persons whose work and efforts are deemed by the Association to have been of outstanding quality and benefit to the Association and/or the Norwegian Elkhound Breed.

The award is presented at the annual Awards Banquet. The Ed Schlesinger Outstanding Service Award Committee has the sole discretion to determine how many awards, if any, will be presented each year.

Immediately following the NEAA Annual Meeting the President of the Association will appoint the Ed Schlesinger Outstanding Service Award Committee. The Committee will consist of one person who is a member of the Association’s Board of Directors and two Association members who are not members of the Board.

The Committee may solicit written nominations from members of the Association by giving notice in the July/August issue of the Association’s newsletter.
